Intent
A layered apartment interior where the rooms are calmed rather than filled. An arched headboard gives the bedroom its one shape, a cluster of pendants gathers the living room toward the garden opening, and the working corner is set out with a timber desk, task seating and open shelving.
Language
Pale upholstery against black metal framing, with warm timber for the desk and shelving. Curves do the softening, in the arched headboard and the layered rug, while the thin dark frames keep the edges crisp. The palette stays neutral so the garden reads as the colour.

Bedroom
An arched headboard detail sets the shape of the room and gives the bed a wall of its own. A layered rug brings the floor up under the bed and keeps the footprint warm. The rest is left plain, so the arch stays the single move in the room.

Living room
A cluster of pendants hangs over the seating and pulls the eye down to a comfortable height in a room that opens onto the garden. The furniture is turned toward that opening, so the planting does the work a feature wall would otherwise have to do.

Home office
A timber desk with task seating and open shelving above it. The shelving is left open rather than closed so the wall stays light in a small corner, and the timber ties the working area back to the warmth carried through the rest of the apartment.

Black metal frames carry pale upholstery, so the seats read as light objects sitting just clear of the floor. The contrast between a thin dark frame and a soft pale seat is the detail the interior repeats from room to room.

An interior that gets its calm from restraint rather than emptiness. The arch, the rug, the black frames and the timber recur often enough to hold the rooms together, and stop well short of becoming a pattern.
